Top U.S. High School Scientists awarded by Intel

What are high school students of today doing? Well, surprisingly some of them are into deep research and are hard in formulating theories of their own. In the recent Intel Science Talent Search, the top high school scientist, Shannon Babb of American Fork High School in Utah was awarded a $100,000 scholarship for his research on water-quality problems. Several others also won scholarships totaling $530,000.
