Smarthouse, an Australian magazine, recently published a scoop on the next big Apple product : the iPhone. It's basically an iPod with integrated phone functions, and rumors about it have been circulating for a while now, but this article confirms that we might be seeing the phone sooner than we think.
So will the iPhone become another consumer standard? It will definitely have a niche, but phone manufacturers of today are also extending their imagination and the limits of technology to come out with innovative phones. We'll just have to wait and see.
